Founded in 2018, LuminWave is a technology start-up focusing on developing LiDAR and 3D sensing technology, products and perception solutions. It is headquartered in Hangzhou (China) with R&D centers and sales offers in Xi’an (China), Shanghai (China), Shenzhen (China), Los Angeles (USA) and more. The company was founded by veteran photonics researchers from MIT with a team of engineering experts in photonics and optoelectronics. With advanced degrees from top universities and industrial experience from top technology companies, the R&D team processes broad knowledge and deep know-how in areas from Si photonics, to FMCW and ToF ranging technology, to sensing product development and to perception algorithms for various applications. Driven by the needs of its customers, LuminWave has independently developed a series of FMCW LiDAR, ToF camera products and solutions serving a wide range of industries including intelligent driving, intelligent logistics, industrial automation, robotics and more.
